For the most part, AlgoRun is platform agnostic and is designed to run the same for any Kubernetes installation. However, there may be some slight configuration changes that need to be made to ensure AlgoRun will run properly.
Specific instructions for installing into a GKE Kubernetes cluster is coming. Please follow the general installation guide with the following in mind:
- Prior to installation of AlgoRun, be sure Kubernetes is setup and kubectl is configured for your desired cluster.
- Block storage implementation may be different for each provider. You can always use the included Minio configuration that can be deployed with AlgoRun if you want to avoid creating external block storage.
- Some providers have variations in how to determine the IP for the AlgoRun gateway, provided by the Ambassador configuration.
